A shared, server-driven layer of the game. Every run you play can be logged (opt-in) to a community ledger. The aggregate of everyone's runs drives which sectors are Stable, Contested, Surging, or Overrun — and sets fortnightly Priority Directives the whole player base fights toward. You can watch it live on the War Ledger.

No. Telemetry is opt-in. If you never turn it on, nothing about your runs leaves your machine and the game plays exactly the same using local estimates.

Anonymous run summaries only — outcome, duration, sector, kills, samples, and similar gameplay stats. No personal information, no chat, no message content. See the Privacy page for the full list.

No custom accounts, ever. On Steam your identity is your Steam ID and nothing else. Non-Steam builds stay fully anonymous.

Yes. There's an in-game purge that erases your operator record and every run tied to it. It takes effect immediately and is irreversible.

No cookies, no third-party analytics, no off-site scripts. The War Ledger just reads the same public war state the game does.
